Clausius participates in a European consortium to develop a very high temperature (180 ºC) geothermal heat pump.
Clausius takes part of an international consortium of excellence comprising EnginSoft, ITG (Instituto Tecnológico de Galicia), SINTEF, LEITAT, KAUMAN, the University of Ljubljana, the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO and the Institute for Human Factors and Technology Management (IAT) of the University of Stuttgart.
This consortium has come together with the aim of developing an innovative geothermal heat pump capable of reaching temperatures able to reach 180 °C, a key technology to decarbonize the industrial processes with high thermal demand.
We share some of the pictures from the first meeting of the consortium, where Clausius was present, contributing with its experience, know-how and commitment to the energy transition.
We will continue to report on the progress of this exciting European project that marks another step towards a more sustainable energy future.
